One-Click Cookie Rejector Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
What we do NOT collect:
- No personal information
- No browsing history
- No website content
- No location data
- No user activity data
- No cookies or tracking data from users
How the extension works:
The extension runs entirely within your browser. It scans the DOM of web pages you visit to detect cookie consent banners and automatically clicks "Reject All" or hides them. All processing happens locally on your device.
Data stored locally:
- Extension settings (enabled/disabled, strict mode, whitelist/blacklist) are saved using Chrome's local storage API. This data never leaves your browser.
- Basic statistics (number of banners rejected) are stored locally and are not shared with anyone.
Permissions explained:
- storage: Saves your preferences locally on your device
- activeTab: Detects cookie banners on the current tab
- tabs: Needed to manage content script injection across tabs
- scripting: Injects the detection engine into web pages
- contextMenus: Adds a right-click menu option
- notifications: Shows optional alerts when cookies are rejected
- Host permissions: Cookie banners can appear on any website
Third-party services:
None. This extension makes zero external network requests.
